Firstly, big apology for not able turn up on the 2nd day of hobbycon due to some unforesee circumstance. It's really hard to handle a booth all by myself, in the end, the first day, I managed to do a simple setup to display Yuhra, Eayra and Tiara in their Japanese Kimono and Yukatas only. 2nd day, I decided to give up on displaying and gave the booth space to my neigbour friend 'Team Day-Dreamer' to sell their fan-comics and merchandise.

I gave out some of my networkcard(pic above) to people whom drop by my booth on the first day. Met some new and old friends over the booth,glad to know mostly are pretty positive towards this kinda hobby. Yet little dissapointed is that,I was hoping to meet another dollowner in my place, yet no sign of them, so which still makes me a foreveralone.jpg here.

No much pics were took on the day, as the lighting around the booth was really bad, I took a few pics from my friend's (Edgar) album to share here.

The Little Room will be having a booth in HOBBYCON 2011 this coming 10th and 11th Dec 2011!!! Finally, a chance to promote(?) this hobby on Ball Jointed Dolls to the locals and hopefully~~ there's some tiny luck to meet some new dollie friends in KK too^^ Dp drop by and say hi, I won't bite you XD;

TLR booth will be displaying the dolls for photograph, but of course, knows your event etiquette, kindly ask before you take a picture, it's just a simple manner I could ask and appreciate at. This may be my first time to feature all my dollies collection in an event, so, this is the golden chance for you to meet them all in ONE-GO! (sound like celebrity pulak, cheh oh cheh lolz). Not celebrity lah, probably a lot might not seen one in real life like I used to be newbies in this hobby, the moment I get to encountered one, it's how I got myself into this expensive hobby from then on XD;

Okie dokie~ nuff of my blah-blah stuff , Please! do come to support us at the event !!! As for those not from KK, feel free to join us ...if you happened to come here too lah XD;;

Is a late summer post and finally, managed to took them out for some couple pictures together ^_^ Honestly, not much progression eversince I'm into some new lifestyle (more active into sports/outdoors) and hobbies (cosplay) that made me neglecting my dollies pretty much ^^;;;

Here goes some quick snaps of Aeyra and Yuhra ♥

Another thing is, I got them a very special optional hands, which is call SD Girl /SD13Boy Option Hands -'Holding Hands’. It's a limited release optional hand which allow two doll to hold hands! It's a very thoughtful and sweet idea from Volks to have this kinda optional hands for dolls, especially couple dolls. I was fortunate to grab the last one before the sales were called off.

At the Angel's Nest

I am emotionally happy because I finally came here with my daughters. Another dream comes true and also came at the right timing too, Autumn, get to see some beautiful foliage at the Sato's garden.

Tenshi No Sato finally, i am here~~終於達成多年來的願望了~~

It was very nice of them to provide the doll owners a basket to bring the dollies around for photos and leisures ^^

Dear Girl's Season

Took quick trip down to Kundasang and Ranau with friends on my off days from work. It was really a fun day. We had a spontaneous cosplay photo outing for a friend at this beautiful Kundasang War Memorial, whilst I took this opportunity to bring my darling Aeyra for her first outdoor photo snapping ^^ It was a great day, cuz less visitors yet still made some curious sight at her and also the cosplayer herself there XD;

But I got pretty much positive response from the visitors that first time seen a resin ball-jointed doll, even the gardeners there thought she's pretty and like her ^^ Tho it was kinda uneased to take picture when they were like observing at me taking pictures of Aeyra.

Day out at Kirameki Cafe & Hobby Densetsu

Took a day out with Yuhra and Tiara at Kirameki Cafe, a Maid & Cosplay Cafe managed by my friends ^_^ It's a really fun cafe, do drop by if you happened to come to KK, or you're from KK, please, do support this little fun cozy place, it's one of a kind and proudly the FIRST Maid cosplay in East Malaysia! Do check out their Facebook page for more info and updates from time to time ^^

As we steps in, we'll greet by the 2 really kawaii meido - Moina and IRTea ^^

Moina-chan has a really cute personality, I bet most customers she served will be really delighted and enjoyed their meals here too ^_^

I ordered Omuraisu(Omelette Rice) and Moina was so nice to draw a cute Neko chan upon serving! You can request for any drawing you like too ^^

After my meal, I took pics around(with permissions and honour XD; ) with Yuhra and Tiara. It's my first time bringing Yuhra for a photo outing, and he's REALLY TALL(to my surprise) and as usual, draw attentions to some customers in there too ^^;;; which is quite paiseh*embarrassing* . But still, it was a fun(?) experience ^^ and finally, Yuhra get to have some photos!!! XDD; same goes to Tiara, took quite some of her in the Cafe too ^^

other than Kirameki, I also went to lepak*loiter* at Hobby Densetsu too, it's another Figurines & Toys shop opened by a *another* friend of mine. I brought Yuhra over to visit the shop and also took some photos at a cozy corner they have there ^^ Their shop offers a range of quite up to date and nice figurines product too! sometimes you can order from them if you're looking for certain models, they will be happy to help out ^^

I've put my order for this figure since early February and I've been patiently waited for 6months+ for this darling figuRIN♥ It was an instant love when they released the prototype preview on the internet. I am very glad it turn out to be a WHOAAAA when receiving her last nite^^

The figure was based on the Remixed version of 炉心融解 (meltdown) sung by one of my favourite vocaloids- Kagamine Rin. I wasn't really into most of the vocaloids, except that I love to listen certain songs only, one of my favourite song was this-炉心融解 which somehow caught my ears some times ago. There's a long story on how i got hooked to this song and everything .... but.. i'll pass XD; <---is lazy to type *lol*

And so, i start with my 'tradition' of unboxing again XD; i love to do this heheheh~ it's also for the very first time, a Malaysia Postman handed this to me carefully to me ON TIME and FLAWLESS! i hope this wont be the last time, Malaysia Post, please keep up the good job for every receiver have a peace of mind TQ.

p.s. Excuse the noobies unboxing here, becuz it's my 1st new figurine i ever bought, i sound kinda jakun for the below description

There's a few layer within the box to ensure every little thing is well protected. kudos to the packaging designer for being so thoughtful ^^

Everything comes with a manual on how to assemble the figurine, and what amazed me is, the details on this figurine, is TRULY ELABORATED to the fullest!!!

Tenshi No Sato Visiting Reservation on 2010/11/21

Going Japan, always make many of my dreams come true. At last, get to comfirmed our visit to Tenshi No Sato, hometown to the super dollfie, and I really hope we get to see the autumn falls on this time too, which is one of my MAIN intention to be here.

I am very undecisive on who to bring... i know i cant bring all 4 big dollie all the way down... probably end up with Aeyra and Tiara, especially Tiara, she's the 'Ren',a kinda flower, i assume lotus(?) in Tenshi no sato. I wonder if we get to meet some more dolly owners there and befriend with them ^_^ it would be beyooond awesomenesssss!!! omg, i m in waku-waku(excited) mood for this day!!!!

Comic Fiesta 2009

Here we go again, another year for Comic Fiesta 2009. But this year, I couldn't make it to The Doll Affair 2009 in Singapore due to both event fell on the same date.

Me and my partner(in crime) YogiTori did a doll display under our 'ginka no chika' fan circle/group- Deep Black Sea. It was a last minute idea to do display because... our SUPPOSING RELEASE doujinshi didn't make it, so we have this as backup plans for our booth. All the doll clothings are belongs to YogiTori. Yogi's boy, a one-off Cecile- Chihiro is wearing captain Cecile's default outfit, my two boy, Yuhra is wearing a dollheart Pirate Land outfit and Schora is wearing a dollheart Kernaghan outfit. Damn you Yogiiiiiiii, now I've got 'poisoned' because both Yuhra and Schora looks so MOE(good) in those outfits, I wannnnnnnnnnt!!!! I hope dollheart will keep releasing more pirates or naval related outfit in future again~~.

Other than that, I also gets to learn more and make more dolly-friends and fans around ^_^ I am glad that Comic Fiesta gave us an option to have tthis booth-neigbouring request for the booth owners, we got ourselves a village(with my 'in-laws' and friends, the Rose-Sakura-Wing,O!Saru, Rebellious, 'Panda in Bamboo forest' and palace of enchantment in an area or nearby. kindly refer to the floorplan to see for the village location. We all had so much fun together~ I really hope that i can make it to 2010 again~~tho i never missed any CF,but every year is a worry year...or it's just me^^; ;;

Secondly, I tried to take as many pictures of the little couple, Tiara & Sefa. This has always been my priority to do for them cuz they only gets to meet each other once a year T__T poor them~ But I am glad that the couple outfits i got it from Colourful Forum marketplace for them was all worthwhile, both of them looks cute in it ^^ I am happy to see them enjoying their lovely time together @ CF09 too~

I never expect this would ever happened to me... I've got the bouquet *blush* from the bride O_O; yet, the flowers end up as part of the props to take some pictures with Tiara ^^ Real flowers does give better visuals in photography, unfortunately, my Durand(aka digicam) din do any justice for these lovely Gerberas~.

Noticed anything 'unusual' from the pics other than flowers? heeheee~~firstly, new face up~ it's my first face up for Tiara XDDDD; still not so steady hands, dat's why i didn't paint the lashes ^^;;; Lastly, a pair of SDC optional hands H-03(the curl/punch hands)~~ courtesy of Atrikaa for accepting my order for this limited SDC optional hands order from Volkusa, gracias so much!

Sabah Bloggers Gathering 2009

For the very first time, i actually representing my blog attending an event - Sabah Bloggers Gathering 2009. All thanks to the sponsor(official venue)- Imperial Hotel, I was the lucky first 50 registered blogger to get a free ticket for the event*hearties*

The theme is HALLOWEEN~~~ so most of the attendancee dressed up that night, and of course, even yours truly dress up as a dolly lolita. I tried to synchro mine with Aeyra's outfit, but too bad, I am out of time to prepare for more. Anyway, overally was fun and bringing a doll and a camera and DRESSED UP seriously couldn't do many things, especially taking photos... by far, managed to saved a few from the event.

First off! FEWD! Frankly, IT'S MORE THAN WAT U SEE HERE... is just dat I don't wanna get dirt on my costume, i limited myself to something easy to eat ^^; and it's cute too ~

An impressive performance by a local musician, Roger Wang. I was sitting quite near to the stage, so the speaker nearly blast my eardrums away ^^;;;

I din get to taste this lovely vanilla cake, too busy photoshooting (by others *lol*)

Darling Aeyra 3rd time meeting the public? The first time was at Hobbycon 2008 and then Comic Fiesta 2008. Managed to saved a few photos of her at the event due to the dark surrounding... my camera dont like dark dark /dim lights =(

Boy In His First Year

This magazine layout concept is not my original idea. I've seen some dollie owner did such concept before and it was dearly awesome. This, is a belated birthday photography for dear Schora. Time flies, it's already a year for this first boy in my family XD;

Coffeebean, tea leaf or dollie?

For the very first time, my dollie blog earned me a freebie , a food tasting @ The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Waterfront KK. Thanks to Julian who passed out this information about giving 10 bloggers a previledge to try out their new food & beverages promotion.

It's kinda hard to relate dollies with food reviews XD;; but i tot it would be interesting to bring either one of them for an outing which i've been longing for XD;;; eventually, I went there twice, due to the first day, the F&B couldn't make it on time, but then, we still get to have one complimentary drink and some light serving, until 2nd day is the official food tasting instead XD;;;;....

First day was fine, the food was nice too, but then... Tiara wants something else...

unfortunately, no choco but a Tuna Topped and a Cheese Ham sandwiches ^^;

i ate the cheese ham, and i left the tuna topped one for Tia.

lorrr, she's dissapointed cuz no choco ^^;;;;

Thank goodness an ice-blended mocha(which also yours truly's all time favourite) saved a smile from her XD;;;;

Seriously, I m not good at reviewing things, but I am basically a coffeebean fan XD;;; if you asked me how to rate, as a fan, is pretty biased, i certainly give good feedbacks about coffeebean's F&B XD;;;; cuz it's really good *lolz* XD;;;;;;;;;;

Sewing Log : For Tiara

I used the same pattern as for Aeyra in the previous log to sew for Tiara (1/4 scale size) ^^ but this time, i choose a different fabric to try, finally use one of my favourite fabric for sewing~ i've been keeping this for so long *lolz* it's TIME to make good use of it before it grow mushrooms on it~ XD;;;

I am pretty happy with the outcome, tho the finishing(which you can't see it here, cuz it's either inside or at the back) still very bad ><; i m not good in sewing need works, still amateur... orz

p.s. i suppose to make a headdress for her, but turn out look like a bonnet.... i is phailz.... orz

Sewing Log : For Aeyra

First time sewing for a big girl~ ^^ all thanks to this wonderful pattern book by Chang Hsiu Mei that I bought from my last Hong Kong trip , saved me from drafting from scratch, and pretty easy steps to follow too ^^ Still got more of the pattern to try out soon ^^ And I am glad Aeyra looks fine in this dress too, tho my dress is so much simplifed from the one that's made by Chang Hsiu Mei (cuz every pattern comes photos of the doll with the dress on, made by her).

MDD "Deus Machina Demonbane" Al Azif

Out of some chance(last year December, after HobbyCon) , i brought her home for a stay, becuz her owner, Chester, is having some mess to clear (his figures stock) before fetching her back soon.

So I took this opportunity to take pictures with her, since I rarely get to meet other people's doll in here. She's even all dressed up in her defaults and ready for a snap anytime! ^^

I haven't watch or played this game yet, so i m not sure how to make her pose as she should be... but I think she's cute, tho BIG EYE lolita chara ain't my cup of tea, she somehow, does have some 'attraction' about her ^^

Mini Dollfie Dreams are NOT elastics jointed like the normal BJD works, and they are much much more lighter than my Tiara (Super Dollfie Cute Ren), Their material are sorta soft, elastic(?), not really resins, but i can't tell what is it...^^;;; so much different from a normal bjd i know about. To me, it's a whole new experience dealing with MDD. Good to know, hehehz~ ^^

Omake:

I did a doll comparison with both Al-Azif and Tiara. Al-Azif's head are wayyyyy bigger than Tiara's, so the Al-Azif default wig don't fit on Tiara ^^; MDD got smaller boobs too , so, don't try to get MDD clothings(exclusively for MDD only) for MSD/SDC cuz it won't fit on them. . i was actually attempt to let Tiara try on Al-Azif's costume, unfortunately, she can't even button up to the chest ^^;;;;;;

Lastly, a simple studio set up.... now u know how i works on this photography session with her XD;;;

New Year New Stuff

So, i increased my collection with another batch of stuff that i brought back from my Singapore trip during the Xmas 2008. I re-arranged the stuff and DIY-ed a rack to hold my new collections on it, which is the Code Geass C2 trading figures and Togainu Coin sized figures ^^ other new stuff are the random gachapons of Gintama characters and a chibi voice Lockon~*hearties*

gosh, this display had shown how much my 'otaku'-ness has extended ^^;;;;

an overview of my collections for the beginning of 2009!!

i used chopsticks and 2 wooden block to make this temporary rack to display the Code Geass trading figures and the row of coin sized figures above... i hope it stay this way until i feel like changing the display soon...^^;

I love the Code Geass R2 trading figures~ i m very happy with it, it was nicely sculpted and painted ^^ my set consist of a secret Zero and C.C., that's why they are different from the default colours ^^;

my beloved Zero & Lelouch (both are same person wad XD;;;;;; )

Two new dollies~ gift from my sister from her Korea try ^^ there's another DDung doll my mom bought for me from Korea too(both of them went to Korea last month)~ i'll update that doll with some better pictures soon.

Heya~ finally, all the 2008 holidays and event are over~! Cuz it's already a brand new year here!

I'd like to wish all my dear blog viewers and friends, Happy 2009!!! It's going to be great year ahead for The Little Room again. I hope i get to update more with my girls and probably an upcoming boy? ^^ let's hope Schora will safely get his body this year... yes, you heard me, i m going to make a HIM out of the School Head A.

And time to post some photos from my Comic Fiesta 2008 KL and The Doll Affair 200 8 Singapore.

From Comic Fiesta 2008 , Tiara is happy to meet her beloved Sefa again ^^ had them in a xmas scarves to share ^^ and finally i get to meet Guki's Eri-kun. But honestly, i missed out a lot of pictures that i want to mention here.

Amber's new darling, a MIRUKU!!! is omgoshly melting ppl down. IS SO MOE I TELL YOU, BUT DANG MYSELF I DIN TAKE ANY PHOTOZ OF HER TAT;;; i hope other friends and chan-gars got take some pic and share with me soon pweease~~

and i get to meet lily's kids too ^^ nyaaa, no pic oso TT but i got her JunJun with Icchan pic. Then Kitty's kids too XD Tiara met his KaiGor(god brother) at last~~!!! And a few more, that i m not sure who's and what are their names...sorry, but thanks for all those drop by took pics and even say hi or smiled at me XD;;; i greet too many people on both day of CF2008 ^^;;;

Next, The Doll Affair 200 8 in Singapore. It's my first time attending a doll-only event in Asia. Pretty nice, especially the booth displays, they really put lotsa efforts for the doll presentations ^^

First off, i drop by VeryBerry to inquire about my purchasing from them, unfortunately, the stuff i order are yet to arrive, but the girl was very kind to offer a free of charge shipment to me once the stocks are ready.

Then, i drop by Princess-aki's Angel*Candy*Rock booth. Happy to meet aki again ^^ and yay, she got a new girl~~ is a very very heart melting Yo-SD.

This is my favourite outfit, yet it's sold out T___T now i regretted of not getting dat SD-sized one.... it's so pretty ne~

Aramaki's booth! i met her, but i m not sure if she remember me or not XD; cuz i kinda feel like she don't know me when i waved and smiled at her XD;;;I really like her booth display,the colours very calm and nice eventho they display was simpler than others.

I like this concept, it's actually based on a Japanese storybook. The doll is actually a Crane, who made beautiful Japanese Ito(cloths) using her feather. This Tohya makes a really beautiful Madame Crane in here.

Crystal's booth! She built a 'room'!!! kyaaa, i like~~ and her boys are droolicious XDDDD two boys in a room, nice~~~ XD (dangit, my fujoshi-mode ter-on already)

When i first saw this display, i din realize it's actually a scene, until i look back into the pics i took, i realize, there is actually a FIGHT going on in here XD; Very very creative of them. No wonder the boy with SW Tae bleeds on his head XD;;;

After i m done with the booths browsing, we take a break and see wat we got from the shopping. Sakana bought a set of sweet country loli for Shizune! Actually i oso did eyed on that, but price were too jialat(expensive) for me, so i passed. Frankly, it's been almost one whole year, Sakana neglected her kids, it's time for her to compensate them with some nice clothings, thats why she got this for her XD;

I din get anything for the girls, cuz i'm almost out of SingDollar to spend, so i saved up, skipped the shopping from the event. Took random pics with them together with Yogi and Sakana's kids.

Aeyra's wearing Chihiro newly bought spectacles. She looks like a teacher with those specs on XD;;;; this is an interesting arranging of the girls for photo, the "DO-RE-MI" way(ascending)XD;;;

I should be doing my other stuff.. yet i end up spending my holidays sewing for them... sign of procrastinating? becuz sewing isn't what i suppose to do NOW.

But it's a good thing, especially Aeyra, she didn't get any exposure ever since her arrival ^^;;; and i did some test photos with Schora as a GIRL. Basically, Schora has to be a girl at the moment, cuz SHE need to share a body with Aeyra.

And it's my very first sewing for an SD-size doll!!! All thanks to this wonderful site - FLIMFLAM, that i found a few nice easy pattern to try out ^^ her photos are nice too~~ i read thru her blogs too, she made a beautiful room for her dolls~ i wanna do one too *gets motivated~~* but..wait till i finish doing my current jobs first orz....

Finally, i tried my very first face up!!! Its fun ^_^ but a bit time consuming.. probably becuz it's my first time, cuz it took me whole day to finish it. Not an easy task,especially getting the eye brows balance and the painting the lashes on.... seriously respect all the face up artist out there, you guys are awesome, i got so much to learn from you all lagi *salute*~

i m happy for my first face up ^^ i hope i can gain more confident to help my girls to do face up too~ ^^

I used lotsa pastel to put on the eyes, to create some smokey effects around the eyes.

She belongs to my friend- Bakaneko ^^ i helped him out during last After Event Dolpa lottery and which given me a chance to meet a MiniDD for the very first time ^^ so cute~ a very different 'feel' from the most of the dollfies i've ever encountered. She is much more lighter, softer XD; and no elastic attached !

tho sadly, this parcel were held in custom for insecption and taxation when receiving it from the post office today..

Yesterday, she's still a dream.

But today, she is a dream come true ^_^ Finally, i really get to fetch my dreamdoll home at last.

It was really a pleasant surprise, i was expecting she'll be here on Friday, but she came in and waiting at my doorstep for me instead *lolz*

It's my first time, trying on Volks Dolpa After Event(online), and it was a really lucky chance, i managed to get her into cart, cuz i were told by friends, the Online After Event are very hard to access and put the desire items into the shopping cart during they event day was held. Then, the second miracle is, she avoided from taxation, which i never expected to be. She does bring a lotsa good lucks to me ^_^ from the day i decided to get her, everything has been really smooth going~ in case you are not familiar with her, She is a Volks Dolpa 19 Limited Edition - Super Dollfie Girl- Tae .

And here are her arrival pictures i took during my lunch break & after work at night, so please excuse for the night shots,I know it's terrible, but i couldnt get enough lighting preperation this short time ><; i'll try to take some better photos of her next time ^^; :
The custom didn't even bother to read the invoice that was put outside the box for them to check, thank goodness, we are blessed and avoided from taxation XD;

It was very well packaged, but my hands... are shaking.... cuz... too excited !! >w<;;;

2nd Anniversary with Tiara

Another year gone by ^_^ marked another wonderful year with my Tiara~ .

She is one an unexpected angel in my life. I remember the first time i saw her, it was almost like a love at first sight when Lily shown me the photos of SDC Ren for dolpa 15!! I didn't expect, there would be one doll (other than FCS-06 headmold) would have the look and FEELINGS ,similar to the Anais i love. At that time, I tried to avoid on getting anyMSD-sized doll, but things like to happen at my most least expected time . So, a 'love struck', plus helps from Lily and her friend, i managed to fetch her home on the 16th May 2006.

Begins my the life living together with bjd for the first time XD; 2 years, still HAPPY TOGETHER~ ^_^

I've made a Vanilla cake for her 2nd birthday ^_^

I heard he's the less popular amongst, but i m still happy to have him~ he's one nice character (minus the BL thingie ya XD guys dun want to know! ) in that game~. One good ojiisan(uncle) take care of his counterpart- Konoe ^^ He looks exactly like the original art! esp his PVC(?)/leather outfit! that's why i m soooo impressed by these figurines~ they really bring life out of the ACG 2d art.

All thanks to a nice seller -Valiant (Toysworks), he made my dream figurines came true XD; i seriously tot the chances of getting this set are steep~ i m glad, miracles happened! thanks to the middle-'gal'-Aiko-chan too XD; i found these cats! i m really really reallyyy impressed by the craftmenships of these figurines! Japanese are tensai!!! The cats made me look and appreciate PVC figurines in a different way than i used to.

finally, received my parcel from VOLKS safely. My first time BUYING stuff from VOLKS online, it was a pleasant transaction and FAST! i got my parcel within a week time ^_^ I was fortunate to have relieved from the custom taxation, because it's below RM500 for items sent on EMS/courier services.

what i bought:
- 1 EB beauty body type A (new body for Seara)
- 2 Dolfie plus 02 body (belongs to Videl & Buma)
- 1 pair of 8mm gray acrylic eyes (belongs to Videl)
- Super Dolfie Catalogue vol 3 ( MINE!)
- Juliet Jam collections, 5 items!
- dolfie plus short wig (MINE!)

At last, Seara and Caera can share clothes! i m happy with her new body, becuz got smaller boobs than the dolfie plus 02 XD;;;;; and i bought quite some stuff for Seara, those Juliet Jam collection are all for her ^^ but Caera will still get to wear it, since both of them now can share the stuff together ^^ I especially love the shoes and the poodle bag XDDD it looks really cute, that i couldn't resist but bought it. The onli dissapointment is, the dress ... i regretted, cuz i CAN SEW dat myself...the official photos was simply biased in a way dat made me bought it T_T;;;

The Super dollfie catalogue are just wonderful! i finally get my own copy and now i can see what type of head mold of my choice, if i ever get to do a FCS too ^_^ mostly are from Tenshi no Sato. Just sad, they don't have Anais-head T___T well, that's why it is soooo precious to own her...

Tiara's first attempt in Cosplay! cosplaying as Enma Ai from the anime 'jigoku shoujo'(Girl From hell). Tho it was not done on purpose, cuz i just wanna make a typical japanese doll with the kimono and the black 'hime' wig i bought from Josephina_Di_Venetia(HK) last time. Surprising, she pretty fit into this cosplay ^^ and i love to see her in a Japanese-ly look~ one of my friend said she has the aura of a regal princess...perhaps i'll try to do one if i can XD;;;;

Doing Esthetics on Tiara (Volks SDCute)

This isn't really a tutorial, as myself are a NOOB in this, basically, i m doing a record/logs for my own, but you can take this as a reference, because i can't assure if what i did here is right or not ^^; if any of you are following these steps/way, please, do at your risk. Thanks for ur kind attention =)

First, i will explain a bit on what kind of tools i used to do the esthetics on Tiara.

removing seamsline : carving tools,sand papers

cleaning : Mr. Color thinner, soap water(not shown in pic)

color/blushing :pastel(not shown in picure),acrylic(not shown in picure),brushes, Mr.Super Clear-Flat(for finishing + sealing the paint/pastels), chopsticks (to hold the parts to dry)

restringing : picker(?), strings, clips.

First, i unstrung the parts out, and put them accorddingly, it's not necessary to arrange them like this. It was my first time, i was afraid if i made any mistake with the parts detaching, that's why i put them seperately in this way.

Then, i start to remove the seamsline with the carving tool, remove it little by little. Then, sand it with sand paper no.400 to sand off any visible seamslines after the carving tools. Then use sandpaper no.1200 to smoothen the resins.

I also did some hole opening on her hands, just a slight sanding on the middle part of her fingers and gaps.

After sanded...

Then, after I sprayed a layer of MSC(Mr. Super Clear-Flat), i put some pastel to add in some blushing on her hands ^^

I din do the blushing to all her parts, i only did on her hands and foots, the rest, i sprayed about 2 layer of MSC and let it dry like this...

when i m done with all above, i restring her back.

Sorry, no picture of restringing...because i forgot to take pic... ^^;; basically, u can the string tutorial (for Volks dolls)HERE. (basically, it's a COMPLETE esthetic way , only in some case like restring, i use strings to replace for some tools in here ^^;;;)

After all were done, Tiara looks cleaner (sorry, no photos yet) and her pose-ability are better, at least the legs wont falls back like last time ^_^

and i m glad the SDCute restringing are easy to do. I overcomed the 'fear' of restringing now, hehz ;D thanks to the manual that were enclosed by Volks, it's waaaaay so useful. I just cant imagine, why some doll company such as LUTS don't include any instructions or manual for their user? O_o;

i din meant to offend on other doll company, just that, they should make it for their user, so that they can take care of their dolls in a proper way. ^_^

Finally, some love for Caera ^_^ i get to done with sewing one simple loli-dress for her, the pattern were taken from Doll Cordinate Vol 3, a very nice book to sew~ and the small little details are really 'eating up' my eyes @_@;;; sewing for 1/6 is harder than 1/4(MSD). But in the end, i enjoy doing it ^w^

Aslah came back from Spore for a CNY break, and i m very happy that i get to meet her up with her boy- Reon (Souldoll Paris) too. I really missed chatting with Aslah ^^ is good to hear that you're doing great in Spore now. We had a short session at Aslah's house, taking pics with the bear bears XD then we head a Cafe @ Tj Aru beach for some good chat and some photo taking sessions with our kids ^^

Came back since last Sunday, but my internet connection simply go 'hangkang'(down) since the day i left for holidays. Now trying to update from my office before going home T_T

Eventually, came back with an amount of 35KGs(?) of 'victory item' from our shopping spree XD; unexpectly, i din buy any ACG related stuff, nor any books O_O; Not even KLCC Kino...time was too short T_T

At least the dollmeet on Saturday(10 Feb 2007) with some members from bjdasia(livejournal community) was really nice!! Thank you for the lovely day~ Tiara and i had so much fun meeting y'all ^w^

After the wigs, then the EYES oso came in safely XD;;;

It's just acrylics eyes, and because i wanted to see the difference of her wearing on other kind of eyes, i finally removed her default eyes out. It was hotgun-glued on, so i need a steel pick and a hair dryer to remove the glue and the eyes out of the head O_O honestly, it was scary, cuz it's my first time.

i am really happy with the synthetic quality too *_* VERY SOFT....*excuse moi...cuz i m a NOOB dollowner* so soft~ *brush the beautiful long black wig*aaa, i loveitloveitloveitttttt!!!!! finally gets to see Tiara in SYNTHETIC wigs *_* awww,i m really overjoyed(siao) at the moment!!! XDDDDDD;;; mannn, if i got more money, i wanna get somemore from them again !!!! XD;;;;;

Price wise, pretty affordable, cuz i bought 5 wigs which worth HK$710(included shipping and handling) XD cool~ i definately recommend JDV if anyone are looking for doll wigs ^_^

For MSD wigs, the price range from HK$98 -HK$138. I'm not sure with the SD size wigs price, but i think the price would be quite fair/cheap(?), to compare with other companies such as DollHeart,Leeke,etc... i think Cotins have the nearest pricing with JDV ^_^

Pleasure and loves for having Bethamy's daughters drop by The Little Room. Other than the Pullip Latte and Petit Pullip-Fantastic Alice, comes another surprise little Petip Pullip Paja XD;;;

The sun was going to set and din manage to take much nice pic T_T manage to saved a few that is visible... but still, hope to take more pic with them when i got free-er timeslot to do some new clothing for all of them! And becuz of the Petit Pullips, makes me feel like getting the almost abandoned Petit Blythe (bohemian summer)- Kelly out of her dusted box for some new looks soon ^_^

Oh, and the Rements miniatures does makes a reallllly good setups for this phototaking!! but too bad, we have a serious bad lighting for this photo session T_T the Rements were simply excellent, and the two little hamsters(?) and....long mao (aka totoro?? g so many dolls and dollowners at a time ^_^ I sincerely wanna thanks to all the lovely dollowners and photographers/visitors whom dropped by our humble little doll display @ Neko House booth. And i would like to apologize if i did anything rude or offended any of you during the event . It's my first time, so i m a little shy to talk to any new faces i've seen. But all of them are reallyreallly friendly!!! It's really a pleasure to meet you all. Thank you so much!

This year's CF, i spend most of my time with the dolls XD; unfortunately, my digicam didn't do any justice to most of my takes, manage to pick a very few from hundreds i've took from the event.... which means, i desperately need a new digicam soon TAT;;;;

Our last minute preparation doll display, it was rather simply cuz we wasn't able to carry much of the decoratings, but gladly a few items we brought manage to make some presentable display for photographers and visitors to see ^_^

Then Wilde(Too) and Ashlay(Bee-A) joined in ^^ I was overwhelmed by the amount of photographers and visitors taking pics of our doll displays. I am really happy about this, tho i was a little shy to put them out and showing it to the publics. There are even some people requested me to take pics with Tiara XD;

CF Day 2 (17th Dec 2006, Sun)

this time, i dont need to take care of the doll booth, cuz we only booked for one day, the 2nd day, i have my Tiara 'tumpang' at Furuba Dys ^_^ Ahah, poor Isao, couldnt get up from the 'pools' of laps XD;;;;;the rest did nothing but watching on him to gets up his own xD;;;;

I realized that, my girl tend to be really shy when she sit near to any bishie kor kor XD;;;;;;

Couldn't miss out to meet CBY's Riuen (msd Ken) and Miaow's Adrienne (Bee-A)

Once Tiara met with Riuen, she was delighted, cuz she tot she was Riuei XD;; Tho he looks abit garang, but Tia wasn't afraid to get closer with him XD;;; Reine also came and join in the 'fun' <---*touch Riuen's knees* XD;;;;;;;;;;;

Back at home, Tia was too tired and rest on her brother's laps ^^ how lovely to see oniisan pampered his little sister ^^

That SD girl simply reminds me of Ryuuzaki Momoko from the movie Kamikaze Girls (Shimotsuma no monogatari). And much chubby looks, as if she looks like a MSD head mold too. Still sweet, i more fond of her outfit than the doll herself tho ^^

Recently, a lot of my friends and some doll forum members told me Tiara got a boyish look! Well, it was interesting if i can let Tiara do the crossdress or make her a BOY! lolz ^^

And now i let her try to become a Prince and see...

this is one of my favourite shot ^^

actually, i test sew a lot on the normal shirt pattern until i get the right size for her. With a little add in of frills ,a pleat shorts , along with a few matching pleat mini crownies and a ribbon pendant(?) in here ^_^ and of course, the Dollheart boots are a bonus too! really love the Dollheart shoes very muchieeee^^

so, does Tiara have the shonen-fuu(少年風)in here? ;D

next image i m gonna try... might be a PIRATE XD;; will see how's things work out if i manage to sew any pirate-related outfits for her XD;;;;;

Dropped by to Tsa's place to past her some stuff and hang around with her mom as well ^_^ Her mom is really PRO in knitting, she knit a lot for Riuei!! XD; I brought my Tiara along too, and she had soooo much fun trying out so many knitted outfits!!! i was in glee too, becuz my dear Tiara haven't gotten any new cloths for her wadrobe ^^;

one day, will find a day and learn knitting from Tsa's mom, she is such a nice person ne~ o yasashiiiii no obaachan ^^

Oh my gosh, after watching this, I seriously overwhelmed, that, Kawahara Yumiko's 'Plant Doll' (a manga serial) does exist, truely truely exist, when i saw the homey gathering of various collector, which included male collectors. How lovely if i can have a homey gathering like that~ a little circle of fellow friends to share this lovely hobby together~ ^^

Is a pretty nice documentary about dollfie that convey in English.

There is another documentary about dollfie in Japanese, which filmed mostly from dollparty 15 (Volks Doll Event) in Japan, where's my Tiara's 'born' ;3 I heard that, her kind of doll, the Super Dolfie Cute-Ren were sold out within an hour , I m really glad and fortunate to fetch her home ^_^ That day, reminds me how anxious i was, guarding the volks site and also Den Of Angels Forum board all the time. My moments were mostly post over my personal blogger >April 06 archieve XD;

Tiara got some stained, needa give her some 'aesthetic make over' soon, but first, hafta finish some clothing for her first! sewing W.I.P.....

Finally, did a full set Lolita-dress for Tiara ^_^ I always wanted to do this for my dear dollies.

She also finally gets to wear the mini crownie i m selling at Den of Angels Forum and the wig are really nice too, it was a lovely gift from her 'kaima'(god-mother) Lily-chan *Tiara huggles kaima~*

and the Mary Jane shoes, simply meant for this loli-dress XD; I'm still looking for a white long boots for her, to match with any future dress i m going to make for her ^^

I enjoyed myself a lot in this sewing. At first, was pretty much challenging, but the guides from the GosuRori Magazine(gothic-lolita themed dress making magazine) are really useful~ fortunately my basic japanese are helpful enuff to read it the instruction ^^

Still got some flaws around and needa adjust it again when i get my freetime again ,esp the waist frills...MUST RE-SEW THAT PART! ^^; i took 2 weekends to finish the dress, i wish i got more time to do the sewing...but i will try to make another set with the flower patterns cloth i bought from Home and Garden last time. Would love to show that auntie too X3 since she said she would love to meet my dollie too *hearties*

This is the modified version from the original pattern from the magazine, i simplified on the layers ,so, my version are much plain than the original one XD; But the skirt part din come out flare enuff as expected... i think the skirt pattern need to be longer...

i had SEW much fun with this little lolita dress challenge ^^ Tiara looks really happie with it too *hearties*

Finally, another family member joined in ^_^ Now, Seara got another sister! yayy~! But i haven't thought of a name for this Blue Labyrinth Momoko yet, becuz it was too sudden of having her into my dolly family~i really adore her beautiful blonde hair ^^ The skin colour are nice too, it's near to Seara's skin tone too. Finally, get to update with some of my takes from my holiday ^w^ will start with the dollie takes from my Singapore trip @ Cosfest 2006

the boots were borrowed from Sakana's Shizune, thank you~ ^^ at least Tiara is presentable in this boots with the outfit ^^

It's Seara and Tiara's first time being exposed to public, i was quite shy to display my doll at my booth, becuz i really not so used to have dolls showing to public. But i do gets the pleasure when people appreciate them and some did take photos on them ^^

Yogi's son, an One-Off SD13 Volks Cecile. He was one main attraction to our booths, the majestic outfit simply draw a lot of photographers to him XD

My booth neighbour dolls, owned by a group of wonderful OURAN cosplayers *hearties* whilst their doll are in Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts cosplay, lovely <3

Another side of my booth neighbour XD; Princess Aki or Yoake on DOA ^^ her boy Haiame (SD Ken), took pic with Aslah's Shiro (Tensiya Hound). Haiame is reallly adorable. I dont know why, i always fell for either msd/SD ken than Mika... but.. it's the same mold rite? why i always felt the difference between them? optical illusion or it's just me myself feeling this way ^^;

Finally, guy meets girl, Tiara finally gets to meet the big kor kor Shiro-kun XD;

Crystal's boy, my very first time encountered an eLuts doll, very nice skin color and looks really kakkoi in real life too *_*

Momoko and the customized C head (on EB beauty body) belongs to Lily ^^ oh, and i forgot to mention, Seara is wearing a set of Jenny clothing i bought for her from Singapore ^w^ really rare for me to buy stuff for Seara, esp clothing. But i only buy those i cant make myself XD;;

Tia is wearing Ki-chan's wig. Tia did tried on some Lily wig, black color simply dont suit her, only blonde or light colors will looks better on her ^^

Tiara's first outing ^_^ Venue is the Anjung Rimba Park beside the Sabah Arkib building. Was a good place to take dollie for some nice photoshooting (nitpick for the place:wonder becuz the flower season just passed by, not much attractive flowers to take pics with ^^;)

her standing pose is quite a steady one, but I was having problem with her sitting pose (not the suwarikko one), her joints/legs falls behind, and it's hard to bend at 45 degree... i guess needa do some wiring? sueding? *shrugs* i dont dare to do this yet ><;; till i get enuff information to start....

I was so so so excited to open this box. Never in my life, i could ever imagine, i would have a day like today X3 aa,kami sama~ lily, thank youuu XDDDD

...... my heart just stop for seconds... okay lar, i admit... i cried in front of her...it was so unbelievable to me lar, i really have her home now... oh Tiara dear, welcome home ^_^

and these are her stuff, her default outfit, accessories, wig ,SD manual booklets and a white wig gift from her kaima (god-mother XD;; aka Lily~ thankyou ^w^)

The booklets, user manual, application forms, SD owner List form and a Volks SD Pin badge, YAY, i m officially a SD owner now *prouds XDDD*

i love her default face up and her eyes too X3 i think i wont re do her face up for some time, i just love her defaults!

when she came out of the box, the first kampungan fren she met here is Riuei-chan ;D || Riuei chan is a good 'host' ne XD;;;; serve Tiara well XD (but dun think baddie baddie stuff ya >O , is based on the 'ouran host club' concept one lar )

Frankly, today is a dream come true day. Is no more, looking at other people��s doll and imagine how would it like to become a doll owner one day.. gladly, the day came ^^ I m one now. The amount I spent, is worthy ^_^

I always wanted to have angels at home, waiting for me and then I can spent some time sewing for them, to make them as beautiful as can be , and to give the love as much as I can to them. Really love to see both Seara and Tiara beautiful everyday, so I will ganbatte! Work harder, find more money to give a better life for you two.

I m now living in a life like one of the ��Plant Doll�� story ^_^ no more dreaming but it��s reality now.

Too happy to say how happy I m now, just happy happy and very very very happy XDDD

Riuei in The Little Room Pt 2

Finally, the 2 days model gets his reward and wear what he suppose to wear ^_^ a boy yukata outfit. Actually i did one same one to Aslah's Neo Guy before, using the same cloth too xD;;; MSD Ken are really special, because being in 2 gender, he can still very adorable looking ^_^ Previous yukata does makes him look girly sweet, and this one, droolicious+boyish look again ^^ Big thankies to Tsa for lending me his boy to be my model ^^ he was one sweet and well behave child, really glad to have him around during this 2 days holiday, will be returning the boy tomoro or next day, unless... Thanks to Aki for sending me her 'opening/arrival' pics , i m soooo sooo sooooo happpie to finally see my daugther. It was a moment dat i hardly can describe in word, i can tell, i m overjoyed, too happy with this. Can't wait to see her this July already~ Really testing my patience TwT Currently still at Aki's place, and Aki said Kazusa is pretty happy to see my new gal too XD; but Kotori mig be jealous if she found out, but Kyou-chan drag her away , are safe XD;;; Tiara is using Kyou & Kotori's wig, looks pretty sweet on her too, makes me wanna get these wig for Tiara too ^^; haven't unpack her default wig and dress, that's why she is borrowing it from Kyou and Kotori. Hope she have fun at Aki and Lily's place while waiting for me to come and fetch her soon. Be good ya Tiara, Momma will come to fetch you very soon ^_^

Very much thankies to Lily and her fren in Japan, i finally get to fetch a Tenshi back TwT Really, this is the thing that i NEVER expected had happened! After a long struggles for Anais 2nd, now i laid down and ended up bonding with this lovely LE from doll party 15. She is a SD Cute Ren. I gave her a name, Tiara Lyelane, and i will be welcoming her home when i get to fetch her at Lily's place during this July ^^ now i can happily sew another new line of dolly cloths when she's here *actually, i am sewing some for Sakana's daughter too, trying to get the right size of her children at the moment...*

Note that, i've decided to change my doll-family surname from "Monde" to "Lyelane"(pronounce as Lee-lane), that's how my chinese name sound like, so ya, dollie surname is now more related to ME ;3 uffufuu, the 'mother' of 2 XD;;;;;;;;;;

Finally, finished another better yukata for Seara, after testing and experimenting over 5 yukata during the last 2 days holiday (sunday and labour day), i m quite happy with this one ^^ It's actually a Usagi(rabbit) prints jap cloths, one of my MOST FAV cloth collection finally taken out to make into this Yukata for Seara. Still got some left over, mebbe will make use of those lovely leftovers for some other new simply clothing for Seara again. The cloths dat she's sitting also one of my fav collection of cloth, hopefully will make into a Yukata again soon XD;;; omgosh, i think my fond of yukata in me is growing like mad, after making almost 6 yukatas for Seara, i still wanna do more *lolz*

Little Dress

Finally, found some time to sew and did a new face up for Seara. Works and freelancing are keeping me occupied lately, hardly find some time to sew for her... and yay, i did a little dress for her.

amongst the shots i took this morning, this is my favourite ^^ and a lil close up on her new face up too

Close up from the side, but this time, the lashes din turn up nice compare to last time. But i like her new face-up, looks different and ...sweet XD;;; * i m not egoist about my face up skill, but i m just so happy to see her new look* XD;;;

Actually, sorta my first attempt on this kinda pattern, compare to the old one, a bit *improved* becuz i learnt from the mistakes i had before ;3 needa practise more!

frankly, this was took in the morning before i head to work XD;;; a rare moment i can get the sunlight for her photoshooting ^^;

Seriously, dearie Seara need wigs, but it's pretty hard to find wig of her size. Those available at Volks are very limited to a few size ^^;; anyone know a good online shop selling good and reasonable price of a 1/6 doll wig (app. 3-4" diameter). That's all for now, will try to update more on TLR soon~ . Adios ^^/

*ignore the bg plz XD;;* i've successfully made a t-shirt with the pattern i found from DoA and mwee~ basically, all here ,except for the shoes, are made by myself *prouds* heheh~ actually, the whole outfit is very simple to sew, so, nothing much prouder i could get about this, just happy i can make something for Seara lately ^^

some closeups i took in a beautiful afternoon, i love the lighting, but dang, from here, i can see how 'char'(bad) i am in doing face up DX;; all the 'weakpoints' are turned out in these close ups, really need another new face up when i got my MSC back from Mel first ^^; ish sooo bad ar... but from far, you wont notice it at all, i even put in some lashes for Seara, that's why i took close up pics of her for this, yet it shows so much flaws i did on her face ^^; really needa re do her face up...seriously, esp her eyes.. needa blend more on this...
