Flower Girl

I never expect this would ever happened to me... I've got the bouquet *blush* from the bride O_O; yet, the flowers end up as part of the props to take some pictures with Tiara ^^ Real flowers does give better visuals in photography, unfortunately, my Durand(aka digicam) din do any justice for these lovely Gerberas~.










Noticed anything 'unusual' from the pics other than flowers? heeheee~~firstly, new face up~ it's my first face up for Tiara XDDDD; still not so steady hands, dat's why i didn't paint the lashes ^^;;; Lastly, a pair of SDC optional hands H-03(the curl/punch hands)~~ courtesy of Atrikaa for accepting my order for this limited SDC optional hands order from Volkusa, gracias so much!

Sabah Bloggers Gathering 2009

For the very first time, i actually representing my blog attending an event - Sabah Bloggers Gathering 2009. All thanks to the sponsor(official venue)- Imperial Hotel, I was the lucky first 50 registered blogger to get a free ticket for the event*hearties*

The theme is HALLOWEEN~~~ so most of the attendancee dressed up that night, and of course, even yours truly dress up as a dolly lolita. I tried to synchro mine with Aeyra's outfit, but too bad, I am out of time to prepare for more. Anyway, overally was fun and bringing a doll and a camera and DRESSED UP seriously couldn't do many things, especially taking photos... by far, managed to saved a few from the event.

First off! FEWD! Frankly, IT'S MORE THAN WAT U SEE HERE... is just dat I don't wanna get dirt on my costume, i limited myself to something easy to eat ^^; and it's cute too ~


An impressive performance by a local musician, Roger Wang. I was sitting quite near to the stage, so the speaker nearly blast my eardrums away ^^;;;


I din get to taste this lovely vanilla cake, too busy photoshooting (by others *lol*)


Darling Aeyra 3rd time meeting the public? The first time was at Hobbycon 2008 and then Comic Fiesta 2008. Managed to saved a few photos of her at the event due to the dark surrounding... my camera dont like dark dark /dim lights =(

Boy In His First Year

This magazine layout concept is not my original idea. I've seen some dollie owner did such concept before and it was dearly awesome. This, is a belated birthday photography for dear Schora. Time flies, it's already a year for this first boy in my family XD;

Kindly ignore the content, very chapalang one, cuz i ain't a good copywriter, i just wanna make a magazine layout of it with text , it's typed out from my randomness =P

Coffeebean, tea leaf or dollie?

For the very first time, my dollie blog earned me a freebie , a food tasting @ The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Waterfront KK. Thanks to Julian who passed out this information about giving 10 bloggers a previledge to try out their new food & beverages promotion.

It's kinda hard to relate dollies with food reviews XD;; but i tot it would be interesting to bring either one of them for an outing which i've been longing for XD;;; eventually, I went there twice, due to the first day, the F&B couldn't make it on time, but then, we still get to have one complimentary drink and some light serving, until 2nd day is the official food tasting instead XD;;;;....

First day was fine, the food was nice too, but then... Tiara wants something else...





unfortunately, no choco but a Tuna Topped and a Cheese Ham sandwiches ^^;


i ate the cheese ham, and i left the tuna topped one for Tia.




lorrr, she's dissapointed cuz no choco ^^;;;;



Thank goodness an ice-blended mocha(which also yours truly's all time favourite) saved a smile from her XD;;;;

These sandwiches basically are similar to the what they served us yesterday. Of all, I like the brownies most ,cuz i luuuurve chocolates too ^^

Seriously, I m not good at reviewing things, but I am basically a coffeebean fan XD;;; if you asked me how to rate, as a fan, is pretty biased, i certainly give good feedbacks about coffeebean's F&B XD;;;; cuz it's really good *lolz* XD;;;;;;;;;;

joyeux anniversaire

It means Happy Birthday in french, bout it sound like a joyous anniversary to me. Tiara's 3 years with me, whilst Aeyra celebrating her 1st anniversary with me on 18th June~ I hope I'll able to sew more to make them more beautiful in everyday,every year (i hope XD; )

Sewing Log : For Tiara

I used the same pattern as for Aeyra in the previous log to sew for Tiara (1/4 scale size) ^^ but this time, i choose a different fabric to try, finally use one of my favourite fabric for sewing~ i've been keeping this for so long *lolz* it's TIME to make good use of it before it grow mushrooms on it~ XD;;;






I am pretty happy with the outcome, tho the finishing(which you can't see it here, cuz it's either inside or at the back) still very bad ><; i m not good in sewing need works, still amateur... orz

p.s. i suppose to make a headdress for her, but turn out look like a bonnet.... i is phailz.... orz

Sewing Log : For Aeyra

First time sewing for a big girl~ ^^ all thanks to this wonderful pattern book by Chang Hsiu Mei that I bought from my last Hong Kong trip , saved me from drafting from scratch, and pretty easy steps to follow too ^^ Still got more of the pattern to try out soon ^^ And I am glad Aeyra looks fine in this dress too, tho my dress is so much simplifed from the one that's made by Chang Hsiu Mei (cuz every pattern comes photos of the doll with the dress on, made by her).

MDD "Deus Machina Demonbane" Al Azif

Out of some chance(last year December, after HobbyCon) , i brought her home for a stay, becuz her owner, Chester, is having some mess to clear (his figures stock) before fetching her back soon.

So I took this opportunity to take pictures with her, since I rarely get to meet other people's doll in here. She's even all dressed up in her defaults and ready for a snap anytime! ^^








I haven't watch or played this game yet, so i m not sure how to make her pose as she should be... but I think she's cute, tho BIG EYE lolita chara ain't my cup of tea, she somehow, does have some 'attraction' about her ^^

Mini Dollfie Dreams are NOT elastics jointed like the normal BJD works, and they are much much more lighter than my Tiara (Super Dollfie Cute Ren), Their material are sorta soft, elastic(?), not really resins, but i can't tell what is it...^^;;; so much different from a normal bjd i know about. To me, it's a whole new experience dealing with MDD. Good to know, hehehz~ ^^


Omake:




I did a doll comparison with both Al-Azif and Tiara. Al-Azif's head are wayyyyy bigger than Tiara's, so the Al-Azif default wig don't fit on Tiara ^^; MDD got smaller boobs too , so, don't try to get MDD clothings(exclusively for MDD only) for MSD/SDC cuz it won't fit on them. . i was actually attempt to let Tiara try on Al-Azif's costume, unfortunately, she can't even button up to the chest ^^;;;;;;


Lastly, a simple studio set up.... now u know how i works on this photography session with her XD;;;

Even it looks like a simple pattern shirtdress, but it's worthwhile when i look into the sewing craftmenship of it, it is sooo good. Compare to mine, i got a long way to reach this awesome standard.
